What we deliver today (without HIPAA claims)

- Recording consent, AI disclosure, and data export/delete flows (see Privacy & DPA).
- India DPDP-aligned controls — not a substitute for US HIPAA until BAAs are signed.
What we do not claim yet
Liulum does notmarket itself as "HIPAA compliant" or "BAA-covered" until subprocessors are under signed BAAs and legal review is complete. Clinic landing pages describe outcomes (never miss a patient call), not certifications.
BAA readiness checklist (founder / legal)
- Sign Business Associate Agreements with Retell, ElevenLabs (if used), and each LLM provider.
- Enable zero-data-retention (ZDR) or equivalent at model providers where available.
- Complete legal review of DPA + clinic-specific terms before any PHI marketing claims.
- Set HIPAA_MARKETING_ENABLED=true only after the above — never before.
- Train staff on escalation paths; keep recording consent + AI disclosure enabled per region.
