Payments & Treasury (opt-in module)

Liulum is software-only. We never hold, pool, or move customer funds. This module stays off until legal sign-off.

Current status

The Treasury / margin-split employee is disabled in production (TREASURY_MODULE_ENABLED is not set). Voice onboarding shows the step only when explicitly enabled after review.

How it will work when enabled

Client connects their own Razorpay or Stripe account (credentials in encrypted vault).
Split rules use a pre-verified destination allow-list — no free-text payees.
Money math is deterministic code, not LLM output; payouts require approval above caps.
Every movement is idempotent, logged, and reconciled nightly.

Why it is gated

Routing customer funds through Liulum would trigger payment-aggregator regulation in India and change the SaaS positioning. The module launches only after payments-specific legal review and updated Terms/DPA language stating Liulum does not handle funds.
